Membership and Fees 2024

2024 EXISTING Members Renewal Process:

  • Choose your membership type (see details below).
  • Make payment to FRR accordingly.
  • Login to cgaonline.co.za:
    • Click on licence renewal.
    • Proceed as directed.
    • Please sign online.

2024 NEW Members Process:

  • Make payment to FRR according to your chosen membership type (see details below). Please note: Full Access Membership is not available to new members.
  • Login to cgaonline.co.za and follow the appropriate steps according to your status:
    • If you have never registered on CGA
      • Click on New User.
      • Proceed as directed.
      • Please sign online.
      • A licence number will be allocated to you once they are available.
    • If you are transferring from another running Club:
      • Click on transfer in.
      • Proceed as directed.
      • Please sign online.
    • If you were previously a member of FRR, but not in 2021:
      • Click on Licence Renewal.
      • Proceed as directed.
      • Please sign online.
  • Once done, please complete this Google form.

Membership Types

Fourways Gardens Residents: Single R590.00, Family R930.00

This membership is for residents of Fourways Gardens and includes access to the below:

  • Tuesday 18h30 Quality Session: the club’s trainer will work you hard. Bring a towel and water bottle. The evening’s routine can be done at your own pace, but the intention is always to see improvements in your running – guaranteed.
  • Thursday 18h15 Time Trial: a ‘no pressure’ timed 4km, 5km, or 8km (and more, if you like). We always encourage members and visitors to stick around for a few drinks afterwards. The bathrooms at the Clubhouse provide access to showers, and the restaurant for a very reasonable prices for food.
  • Saturday 06h00 (06h30 in winter) Club Runs: we like to organise weekly club runs (when there isn’t a race) to ensure we all keep working towards our running goals. Weekend club runs differ from week to week, and season to season, so best to get in touch with us to find out what we’re up to.
  • Social events.
  • Race Gazebo.

Non-Resident Full Access: Single R13o0.00, Family R2100.00

This membership is for members who want full access to Fourways Gardens any time of the week. This type of membership is limited to ONLY 40 members, on a first come, first serve basis. Aside from the access, it also includes:

  • Tuesday 18h30 Quality Session: the club’s trainer will work you hard. Bring a towel and water bottle. The evening’s routine can be done at your own pace, but the intention is always to see improvements in your running – guaranteed.
  • Thursday 18h15 Time Trial: a ‘no pressure’ timed 4km, 5km, or 8km (and more, if you like). We always encourage members and visitors to stick around for a few drinks afterwards. The bathrooms at the Clubhouse provide access to showers, and the restaurant for a very reasonable prices for food.

This membership is for runners who want access to Fourways Gardens (access is limited to Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, Saturday morning, and various social events):

  • Tuesday 18h30 Quality Session: the club’s trainer will work you hard. Bring a towel and water bottle. The evening’s routine can be done at your own pace, but the intention is always to see improvements in your running – guaranteed.

Licence Only: Single R590.00, Family (2 members) R930.00

This membership is for runners who can’t make it to the Club during the week, but who would like access to the Race Gazebo, and the social side of the Club. It includes:

  • Race Gazebo: we have a Fourways Road Runner Gazebo set up at selected races where you can keep your bag while running, and find a seat in the shade (and an ice cold drink) when you’re done. We try to include the Two Oceans and Comrades as away races in our Gazebo set ups every year. We can neither confirm, nor deny it, but the Gazebo is where you’ll find some of the best running advice you can get (as well as plenty of other runners who swear they’re never running another Comrades again – before entering it as soon as they’re able!)

Access to Fourways Gardens

Fourways Gardens Access for Non-Residents:

All non-resident members paying for FWG access are required to get their finger print access done. There is a R40.00 fee associated with the process, which is an estate fee and not part of the running club fee.
